 It can be really lonely on this journey. When you want to make changes and a positive difference in your life but no one around you is on a similar path or you find yourself outgrowing those who are closest to you. You know you want things to change but you don’t know how or where to start. You’ve watched motivational videos on Youtube and you’ve signed up for courses. You start setting goals and make some positive changes, but then you find that you just end up losing motivation and go back to square one. You take one step forward but then 3 steps back, with very little progress being made. Sound familiar?

I do what I do because almost always, the biggest barrier that’s holding most people back is themselves. It’s the stories that they tell themselves, it’s their fear, their procrastination, their lack of clarity about what they want. They are the ones getting in their own way. Once they learn how to remove the blocks that are standing in their way, everything starts to shift.

If you want to change your life, you absolutely need to start loving and valuing yourself like crazy.

Why? 

Because when you don’t value yourself, you will allow your boundaries to be pushed. You will continue to say yes to everyone except yourself. Instead of deciding how you want to be treated, other people will decide it for you and treat you accordingly.

You won’t express your true thoughts and opinions.

You’ll run away from difficult conversations.

When you don’t value yourself you’ll settle for less than you deserve and shy away from believing you can do really great things.

During the last 10 years I had several difficult professional and personal experiences, which consumed a lot of my energy and over time I started to feel overwhelmed, unable to control my emotions and my feelings. While searching on google for a testimonial similar to my situation, I came across Aliya's Instagram as a life coach, contacted her, we had our online meeting which made the conversation easier for me, and also as a person, she was so kind and took time to hear me. Living Boldly: 12 Week Programme

Living Boldly is a 1:1 confidence and self-love programme for ambitious female professionals and entrepreneurs who are fed up of playing small and underplaying & undervaluing themselves, and are ready to unravel the layers to discover their true self in order to start living authentically and step into their power.

 

On this journey we won’t just focus on one area of your life (i.e. your career). Instead we look at your life as a whole because all of the areas are interlinked, and by starting to develop a much more loving and fulfilling relationship with yourself, you will start to feel so much more confident in yourself and your abilities, which will then enable you to thrive. In this programme I teach you how to build confidence from the inside out and how to live in alignment with your purpose. What does this mean exactly? Well it’s one thing to know what you want, but unless you also get clear on who you need to be in the process, you will only end up making the same decisions, carrying out the same behaviors, and as a result having the same outcomes.

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed because you know you want to make positive changes in your life but you don’t know how or where to start, don’t worry I’ve got you! During the Living Boldly programme I will take you on a journey of going from feeling stuck, unsure, stressed out and overwhelmed to a place of much more clarity, inner peace, strength and confidence. 

The elements that we focus on in the Living Boldly programme include:

  1. Self-worth: delving into both your conscious & subconscious programming around what it is you truly believe you deserve to have in your life.
  1. Self-love: redefining what self-love means to you so that you can apply it effectively in all aspects of your life,
  1. Daily habits: together we create a lifestyle that supports your vision with effective daily practices that are going to keep you feeling motivated and inspired.
  1. Self-image: improving how you see yourself and how you believe others see you.
  1. Manifestation: setting intentions and aligning yourself with your vision from a place of self-love and self-worth.
  1. Time management: getting your life in order so that you can create a balance and achieve both your personal and professional goal

This programme is not for you if: 

-You’re not ready to put in the work to make positive changes in your life. As your coach I am here to guide and support you, but at the end of the day you are the one who needs to take action.

-You expect results overnight. This programme is designed to create long-lasting change within you as a result of taking small, consistent steps over time rather than huge leaps that are going to overwhelm you and fall back into old patterns.

-You have a closed mindset and don’t believe that change is possible.

-You don’t believe you’re worthy of investing in you. If you don’t value yourself, the coaching, or the process, you will continuously get in your own way.

What’s included in the programme:

-12 x 90 minute coaching sessions (virtually or in-person in Dubai).

-Homework given after each meeting to be completed before the next session.

-Online progress diary which will document the journey and keep track of your progress.

-Whatsapp support in between sessions if required.

-Continuous love, support, guidance and accountability from me throughout the process!

A little update on what’s been going on on my end. I’m feeling soooper excited about the new coaching clients that have joined my 1:1 coaching programme in the past couple of weeks, all amazing women in leadership positions in finance, medical and health & wellness.

Together we are working on them stepping into the next version of themselves, both as someone who is building the self-confidence to be more visible and assertive at work AND alongside that ensuring that they are practicing self-love by taking care of their physical, emotional and mental well-being too (because you know what it’s like when you’re a high achiever - it can often be all work and no play/rest and all that does it lead to burn out😫).

It’s wonderful to see the progress they’ve all made after just the first session after delving deeper, having greater awareness, and taking action on the homework that is set.

In other news, I’ll be re-running my full day public speaking training in Dubai on September 17th (save the date!), and am currently working on some other exciting collaborations, which I will keep ssh about for now and will update you soon! 🙃

6 years ago today! 😆I just finished speaking at 6 years ago today! 😆I just finished speaking at the Houses of Parliament, giving a presentation on antibiotic resistance back in my career days in London.

Gaaaah I remember I was SO nervous before and during this presentation, I was shaking, felt nauseous and wanted to run away. I was so relieved when it was over😫

But speaking wasn’t something I could avoid in my career as I was continuously put forward to give presentations. I absolutely hated it but it became a little bit easier each time I did it.

I then thought ‘hey I don’t want to just speak but I want to learn how to be a GREAT speaker, one that can capture my audience and keep them engaged.’ And that’s exactly what I dedicated myself to doing. Not only is speaking something I now LOVE to do, but it’s a skill I now teach.

Why? Because if you’re a professional or you have your own business, if you don’t make yourself visible by being seen or heard, you’re going to miss out on a LOT of opportunities, and unfortunately, fall behind those who were just a tiny bit more bold than you decided to be.
Develop Your Public Speaking Confidence. With so Develop Your Public Speaking Confidence. 

With so much competition these days, in order to get ahead you need to be seen and you need to be heard. If you don’t feel confident in yourself, you will shrink yourself and hide away from opportunities that come your way.

And have you noticed how the world is a mirror? If you don’t believe in yourself, others won’t feel confident in your abilities either and you will easily be overlooked.

Never. Life is way too short to take yourself so s Never. Life is way too short to take yourself so seriously.

Unfortunately society has paralyzed us in fear of judgement from other people that we have become so stiff and rigid and want to be seen as ‘perfect.’

What even is perfect? ‘Perfect’ is controlled and a front we put on because we think it’s going to make us accepted by others who are too busy spending their time judging others instead of looking at themselves.

Embrace your goofy weird self. Dance, smile, make mistakes. And if people judge you, hey they’re not your people.

This is the exact same energy that I bring to my 1:1 coaching sessions (where there is always laughter) as well as my group sessions.

The feedback I always get from my trainings is ‘wow this workshop was really fun and not boring at all despite it being such a serious topic.’

Yep. And I wouldn’t have it any other way 💃🏻 ❤️
