 It can be really lonely on this journey. When you want to make changes and a positive difference in your life but no one around you is on a similar path or you find yourself outgrowing those who are closest to you. You know you want things to change but you don’t know how or where to start. You’ve watched motivational videos on Youtube and you’ve signed up for courses. You start setting goals and make some positive changes, but then you find that you just end up losing motivation and go back to square one. You take one step forward but then 3 steps back, with very little progress being made. Sound familiar?

I do what I do because almost always, the biggest barrier that’s holding most people back is themselves. It’s the stories that they tell themselves, it’s their fear, their procrastination, their lack of clarity about what they want. They are the ones getting in their own way. Once they learn how to remove the blocks that are standing in their way, everything starts to shift.

If you want to change your life, you absolutely need to start loving and valuing yourself like crazy.

Why? 

Because when you don’t value yourself, you will allow your boundaries to be pushed. You will continue to say yes to everyone except yourself. Instead of deciding how you want to be treated, other people will decide it for you and treat you accordingly.

You won’t express your true thoughts and opinions.

You’ll run away from difficult conversations.

When you don’t value yourself you’ll settle for less than you deserve and shy away from believing you can do really great things.

During the last 10 years I had several difficult professional and personal experiences, which consumed a lot of my energy and over time I started to feel overwhelmed, unable to control my emotions and my feelings. While searching on google for a testimonial similar to my situation, I came across Aliya's Instagram as a life coach, contacted her, we had our online meeting which made the conversation easier for me, and also as a person, she was so kind and took time to hear me. We have had several sessions, during which I learned to face my fears, to analyze them, to accept the results of my experiences even those where I have been in the wrong,  and Aliya helps me to organize my daily life, and to give myself a lot of self-love. Living Boldly is a 1:1 confidence and self-love programme for ambitious female professionals and entrepreneurs who are fed up of playing small and underplaying & undervaluing themselves, and are ready to unravel the layers to discover their true self in order to start living authentically and step into their power.

 

On this journey we won’t just focus on one area of your life (i.e. your career). Instead we look at your life as a whole because all of the areas are interlinked, and by starting to develop a much more loving and fulfilling relationship with yourself, you will start to feel so much more confident in yourself and your abilities, which will then enable you to thrive. In this programme I teach you how to build confidence from the inside out and how to live in alignment with your purpose. What does this mean exactly? Well it’s one thing to know what you want, but unless you also get clear on who you need to be in the process, you will only end up making the same decisions, carrying out the same behaviors, and as a result having the same outcomes.

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed because you know you want to make positive changes in your life but you don’t know how or where to start, don’t worry I’ve got you! During the Living Boldly programme I will take you on a journey of going from feeling stuck, unsure, stressed out and overwhelmed to a place of much more clarity, inner peace, strength and confidence. 

The elements that we focus on in the Living Boldly programme include:

  1. Self-worth: delving into both your conscious & subconscious programming around what it is you truly believe you deserve to have in your life.
  1. Self-love: redefining what self-love means to you so that you can apply it effectively in all aspects of your life,
  1. Daily habits: together we create a lifestyle that supports your vision with effective daily practices that are going to keep you feeling motivated and inspired.
  1. Self-image: improving how you see yourself and how you believe others see you.
  1. Manifestation: setting intentions and aligning yourself with your vision from a place of self-love and self-worth.
  1. Time management: getting your life in order so that you can create a balance and achieve both your personal and professional goal

This programme is not for you if: 

-You’re not ready to put in the work to make positive changes in your life. As your coach I am here to guide and support you, but at the end of the day you are the one who needs to take action.

-You expect results overnight. This programme is designed to create long-lasting change within you as a result of taking small, consistent steps over time rather than huge leaps that are going to overwhelm you and fall back into old patterns.

-You have a closed mindset and don’t believe that change is possible.

-You don’t believe you’re worthy of investing in you. If you don’t value yourself, the coaching, or the process, you will continuously get in your own way.

What’s included in the programme:

-12 x 90 minute coaching sessions (virtually or in-person in Dubai).

-Homework given after each meeting to be completed before the next session.

-Online progress diary which will document the journey and keep track of your progress.

-Whatsapp support in between sessions if required.

-Continuous love, support, guidance and accountability from me throughout the process!

Yesterday was the first ‘Become a Confident & Engaging Speaker’ workshop of 2023 and the energy was 🔥 🔥 

We focused on how to develop the mindset, voice and body language to become a confident speaker, as well as the importance of improvisation and storytelling.

The feedback I ALWAYS get from these workshops is ‘wow, I can’t believe how quickly 6 hours flew by!’ That’s because I’m hugely against boring trainings 😅and always create workshops that are super interactive and practical from the moment we start. Especially when it comes to developing a skill such as become a confident communicator, the only way you’re going to improve is by getting stuck in and practising.

Imposter syndrome is experienced a lot more amongst high-achievers, resulting in ongoing feelings of self-doubt and anxiousness, accompanied by negative self-talk.

If this resonates with you, I would highly recommend taking out some time to reflect on your journey so far. One exercise I give to my coaching clients is to get them to write down
🌟 20 strengths they have (i.e. resilience, determination)
🌟 20 career/academic achievements
🌟 20 pieces of positive feedback received from others (i.e. a positive remark given about a presentation, recognition given by manager, client, colleague etc).

Yes this exercise is challenging but it’s a lot more rewarding than the ongoing frustrating feeling of not truly deserving to be where you are and holding yourself back from reaching your full potential.

💫 I’m Aliya, I was born and raised in the UK and have now been living I the UAE for 5 years (AD —> Dubai)

💫 I am a Taurus - any other fellow Earthies here? 🌏

💫 I struggled for many years with low self-esteem which affected a number of different areas of my life. It’s now my life’s mission to help people realise that although it may feel like the norm, you really really do not have to feel that way and you are capable of changing it, and once you do, life becomes so much better.

💫 I have a degree in Biomedical Science and a Master’s in Public Health. I’m also a qualified life coach, NLP Practitioner, thetahealer and MBTI practitoner. I quit my job and started working for myself 6 years ago 📚

💫 Always been a little bit of a rebel🙃

💫 I love dance, yoga, and recently got back into acting classes.

💫I make an effort to smile at everyone I talk to throughout the day. You never know what someone could be going through and how much a smile can really brighten their day. Plus research shows that smiling makes us happier - win win!

A little confession: I’ve never felt ‘ready’ A little confession:
I’ve never felt ‘ready’ for anything that I’ve done:
- My first coaching session
- Posting my first video on social
- Running my first workshop
- Going live on video and radio
- Delivering corporate trainings
- Speaking in front of 200 people
- Starting a podcast
- Moving to a new country and expanding my business here

None of it. All of the above terrified me😅

But there’s a couple of things I realized early on.

1. You have to create opportunities for yourself, they won’t come to you - not initially anyway.

2. When they do start to come to you - you just have to say yes and trust that you’ll figure out the ‘how’ afterwards - and you will. 

Don’t wait for life to happen to you, instead go out and make your life happen ❤️

3 ways to build your confidence: 1. Stop being so 3 ways to build your confidence:

1. Stop being so horrible to yourself. That voice in your head is you, and each time you put yourself down, your self-confidence is shrinking. The next time you look in the mirror, instead of looking at all the things you don’t like about yourself, look yourself in the eye and tell yourself what you really to hear right now. Be kind.

2. Surround yourself with people who want good for you and lift you up. Conversations that always centre about talking about other people are soul-sucking and a huge waste of your mental energy. If you don’t have those people in your life right now, go find them.

3. Move your body every day. Instead of forcing yourself and thinking ‘uhh’ I have to,’ do it because your future self will thank you for it. Don’t just work out because you want to look a certain way, but also for prevention of mental and physical disease later in life. And of course, the benefits of exercise does wooonders for your self-confidence. Fact.
