Speaking and training topics include:

  • Developing Executive Presence
  • Become a Confident and Engaging Speaker
  • Building Confidence at Work
  • Letting Go of the Old & Making Room for the New: a self-empowerment and stress management workshop
  • Public Speaking and Presentation Skills

Originally from London, UK and now living in Dubai, I am a qualified life coach, health coach, and certified NLP Practitioner, speaker, trainer and podcast host. I studied Biomedical Science as my undergraduate degree and then completed my Master’s in Public Health at King’s College London. I quickly worked my way up the career ladder, being promoted after 6 months of starting my public health career, and then another 6 months after that, landing a role as a Senior member of my team in a national organisation aged 24. Although on paper I had my dream job, one that I had studied and worked so hard for, I couldn’t help but feel like something was missing.

hi, i’m aliya

Success Stories

Life coaching changed my life and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. I was at a point in my life where I felt stuck and wanted things to change. After working with Aliya I realised that it wasn’t as difficult as I thought it would be. I just had to take the first step and do it and once I did everything started to move smoothly in my life. I have learnt how to overcome challenges without pressure and deal with situations more easily and in a more positive way.

I have seen so much growth within myself as a result of coaching and I am no longer holding myself back from doing what I want to do, and the areas I’ve seen the biggest improvements in are self-love, self-growth and communication. Aliya also feels like a friend, not just a coach and I love how understanding and non-judgemental she is, and how she knows how to deal with each situation. She really looked into people and helps them both believe in themselves and bring out the real person that’s within them.

I attended Aliya’s workshop on “How to Become a More Confident Speaker”.  Aliya is a fantastic trainer and very personable. The training session was a roaring success, and I learnt a lot of key points that I shall use when speaking in public and at events.

 Thank you Aliya.

  • What a time to be alive 😍the big shoulders and huge hair need to make a comeback ASAP xo
  • Confidence isn’t linear, it goes up and down throughout life.

You’ve been promoted, have more responsibilities, you’re expected to lead a team and be more visible - suddenly you’re out of your comfort zone.

You go through a break up or divorce and the life you pictured for yourself shifts - your identity feels different and you’re finding your feet again.

You’ve had a baby and feel rusty going back to work. Things that once felt natural now require more confidence.

This is all completely normal and the good thing about confidence is a skill, it’s a muscle. And just like a muscle, the more you practise using it by speaking up, putting yourself forward, doing things that stretch you - the stronger it becomes.

If your confidence isn’t where it used to be, it doesn’t mean you’ve lost it, it might just be time to start building it again.

If this resonates and you’d like to build your confidence - personally, professionally, or both, send me a message to book a call and explore how we can work together. 💫
  • I thought it was time for a little re-introduction! 💫
  • Question: do you wake up in the morning and the first thing you do is scroll through emails, messages and social media?

If so, you’re bombarding your brain with so much information before you’ve even had a chance to open your eyes properly and you’re now suddenly in reactive mode - responding to everything you’re seeing, reading and your mind is going into overdrive😫

Starting your day like this only results in you feeling much more anxious, distracted and on edge throughout the day.

If your mind constantly has 100 tabs open, it becomes a lot harder to be fully present and mindful. This then shows up in your ability to thinking clearly, communicate more concisely and feel calm and collected, all of which play a huge role in how confident you feel.

Giving yourself at least 10 minutes for yourself in the morning before you start responding to the rest of the world really changes the way you feel day to day. I also like to think of it as an act of self-love❤️ and doing lots of little things for yourself throughout the day that tell yourself ‘I am worth looking after’ is also a fun way to gradually build your confidence and self-esteem🙂
  • It was great to spend the evening at @venturecafemanchester at @sister_manchester, with this week’s focus on social value.

I delivered a session on Developing Executive Presence and Communicating with Confidence, where we explored how to build self-confidence, the three pillars of executive presence and how to put them into practice day to day, alongside practical strategies for becoming a more confident public speaker.

It was lovely to have such an engaged audience, with lots of thought-provoking discussions and contributions throughout the session!

Thank you to Venture Cafe for the invitation to deliver the session. I’m looking forward to attending more events in the future and staying connected with some of the brilliant people I met in the room🤍
  • Last month I went to Porto for a few days and had an urge to tap into my creative side while I was there. As someone with an overactive mind (and of course when you run a business there are always 100 tabs open at one time🙃), I love intentionally carving out time to completely get lost in something, and it’s always more fun when you’re learning something new - and making something delicious!

Confession: I have an unhealthy relationship with pastel de nata🙊

During my coaching sessions, something that comes up a lot is how difficult people find it to switch off and be fully present in the moment. I can definitely relate- life always feels like a never ending to do list with something else that you could be doing, thinking about or planning.

But I’ve found that whenever I’ve given my brain a proper rest, a chance to breathe and become absorbed in something completely unrelated to work, I always come back feeling so much more rejuvenated which in turn causes me to be SO much more productive and creative from a place of feeling full, rather than depleted 💫
  • We spend a lot of time thinking about what we want to achieve, but an equally important question is

Who do I need to become to get there?

Maybe you need to become someone who speaks up even when it feels uncomfortable, someone who actively puts themselves forward, someone who is bolder, more disciplined, more visible or more willing to take risks.

A big part of the work I do is helping people close that gap - and become more aligned with the person they need to be to create the career, business and life they want.

If you’re in a leadership role and there’s an area of your confidence, communication or executive presence you’d like to develop, drop me a message and we can schedule a call to explore what you’d like to work on 💫
  • What is question that you like to live by? 🤍
  • Confidence isn’t just about how you speak. It’s about how you live, and the choices you make all send messages to yourself.

When you prioritise your wellbeing, you’re saying: I matter.

When you speak up instead of staying silent, you’re saying: My voice deserves to be heard.

When you go for opportunities, even when they feel scary, you’re saying: I believe I’m capable.

Confidence isn’t built by waiting to feel ready. It’s built through repeated actions that reinforce one belief:

“I am important.”

Ask yourself today… what is one action you could take that reflects that belief?🤍
